What is Christian “dating”? What does it look like from a Biblical perspective? My girlfriend, Susan Yenser, Mark from ProclaimHisWord, and myself try to tackle this subject in this video. When we speak “dating” we are actually talking about courtship essentially. (It’s why there are quotes around “dating”.)     I thought you might be since, from what – admittedly little – I’ve seen, Lane seems to prefer the KJV, although that doesn’t mean he’s an onlyist. Personally, I think the KJV is turgid. Lane IS chunky, and I was merely wondering why he wears exercise clothes in his videos. It gave me the impression of him being a poser and a slob. I don’t consider myself arrogant for saying that, just honest. To the point: it’s fine that you disagree, but I don’t believe in the domestic subjugation of women.

    I’m not a KJV Onlyist either. I use a few different versions. But what does that have to do with anything?

    And as a woman, I disagree COMPLETELY with your criticism of Lane on this issue for a couple of reasons. Further, you were making numerous posts last night, including saying Lane was “chunky,” making yourself sound arrogant. I think you talk too much, especially in the wrong manner.

    Lane, I COMPLETELY agree with your stance on frivolous dating – it is incredibly rampant, even among Christians – but your stance on manhood is quaint at best, and disgusting at worst. You constantly, arrogantly assume that your girlfriend/fiance doesn’t have a problem with what you say, and talk too much. You may think you treat her with respect, and she may even agree, but if you’re asking a woman’s father for permission to date/court/marry her, you are implying she is weak and a mere object.

    Another note. Some desire conflict. We as follower’s or our Lord Jesus Christ should be wise and discerning in Him. Prayerfully I add. When communicating with others, if we run into a wall in their mind/heart, we must be on alert! This is a thought, now I must consider it myself:)

    okay then do it. honestly I dont care what color Jesus’s skin was, because regardless of what color my skin is He died for me, period. All men are sinners regardless of nationality. i dont care because unlike you i dont have an inferiority complex and thereby have to make everything into an issue of blacks being superior to every other race on the planet to make myself feel better about my insecurities.

    Oh I can prove EVERYTHING by history AND God’s Word! What seminary did Paul go to? Or John or Jesus himself?? GOD dealt with them DIRECTLY and by the holy spirit. You dont need a CLASS to learn about God, thats insane! And black is a color not a nationality :)

    Any scholarly exegesis of scripture requires you to go into the historicity behind a taxt of scripture. what verses are you referring to? and what are their context? Where did you go to seminary? My forefather’s wicked, demonic history? You dont know me or my geneology. My ancestors were slaves, as well as native american, french, irish, german, and jewish. Whats your point in bringing up race.The edomites are Esaus descendents the brother of Jacob, not anglo saxons and archeology proves this

    you know historically, slavery wasn’t something that was foreign to Africa until the first anglo saxons first set foot on African soil. Africans had been practicing slavery for hundreds of years, not just on eachother, but other other nations as well. Look at the moores that conquered cicily. But what does that have to do with Lane? Has he ever enslaved you, and have you personally ever been a slave?I dont see the point in being angry and bitter about something youve never experienced personally
