Hey, I just wanted to let you know who I am and why I run this site. I think that’s important on Christian sites, don’t you? You need to know if you can trust the site and its author. 
My name is Brian Carter and I’m an extremely happily married Christian guy… and I’m blessed to have gotten saved while already in a relationship with the woman who’s now my wife. But I understand it’s not easy out there to:
1. Find a godly single person to date.
2. Stay godly in your conduct while dating.
So this site is about not just FINDING someone, but also how to date if you are a Bible-believing Christian.
Who am I?
I got started on the web writing about acupuncture, then got saved and wrote about Christian Acupuncture. Now I direct a department at an ad agency in Myrtle Beach that does SEO and PPC for clients.
Once my wife and I were both saved, we recommitted our relationship to Jesus and stopped having sex. THAT’S RIGHT, we stopped! And let me tell you that was one of the most healing things either of us ever did, got us right with God, and gave us a foundation for marriage. The most important things that came out of that were:
- I found out for sure I loved Lynda apart from the sex… listen guys, you know you say all kinds of things to get sex, but if you’re not getting it, what do you say? I knew I loved her, I thought, but after this I REALLY knew.
- She found out for sure I loved her apart from the sex… a lot of women wonder how deep a guy’s feelings for her are. If you’re just as loving and attentive when you’re not getting any, maybe you really do love her!
- I came to believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, because there’s no way it should have been THAT easy to not have sex for nine months. But it was, praise God.
And now, we are happily married for seven years with two dogs, two cats, and no kids yet. That story’s still evolving…
